Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service are maintained across all shifts. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive team environment, and uphold our commitment to exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company standards. Train, develop, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance skills and promote teamwork. Handle shift management duties such as scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and participate in interviewing potential team members to build a strong culinary team. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Proven ability in inventory control, food handling, and food safety practices aligned with industry standards. Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent leadership qualities with experience in staff training & development, shift management, and restaurant operations. Knowledge of budgeting, food production, catering, banquet operations, and hospitality management principles. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and resolve guest issues effectively.
