Overview Join our team as a Kitchen Mechanic and help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in our kitchens. As a Kitchen Mechanic, you will be responsible repairing commercial appliances such as ovens, fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, mixers, and ice machines Diagnosing electrical, gas, plumbing, and mechanical problems in kitchen equipment Performing preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns Replacing worn or defective parts Inspecting equipment for safety and code compliance Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Testing equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation Maintaining service records and repair logs Responding to emergency repair calls quickly Installing new kitchen equipment and appliances Working with maintenance teams, chefs, and facility managers Following workplace safety procedures and handling tools properly Skills commonly required: Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with refrigeration and HVAC systems Ability to use hand and power tools Physical stamina for lifting and standing Time-management and communication skills Qualifications

• Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Certification in pool operation preferred.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Preventive maintenance background preferred.
• Read, write and understand English.
