Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and hygiene standards Help with food service operations, including serving guests at counters or buffet lines when needed Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and food warmers safely and efficiently Support banquet or event setups by preparing ingredients or assisting with plating under supervision Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and timely delivery of orders Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for supporting order processing Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment Experience with cooking, food preparation, bussing tables, or hotel/culinary environments enhances your fit for this role A positive attitude combined with excellent guest service skills to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by applying today!
