This vital role combines hands-on food preparation with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring that all food service activities run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will inspire your team, uphold food safety protocols, and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Supervise kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food safety standards by implementing proper handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize waste while maintaining freshness and quality. Lead shift supervisor activities, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring operational efficiency. Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring that all food service activities meet customer expectations and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a hospitality setting. Demonstrated supervisor skills with supervising experience in a demanding environment. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and dietary requirements. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Familiarity with shift supervisory practices and food industry best practices. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally. Experience in catering, banquet operations, or large-scale food service is a plus. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including ovens, fryers, refrigeration units, and coffee machines (including barista or coffee experience).
