Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor/Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety and quality. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, experienced in kitchen management or line cooking, and eager to contribute to a vibrant dining atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support innovative and balanced offerings. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food handling practices in the kitchen area. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and report shortages or issues promptly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times. Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed to meet guest expectations. Experience Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen supervision within the food industry is highly valued. Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus. Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience can be beneficial. Skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling are essential. Strong knife skills, culinary experience, and familiarity with food safety standards are important. Prior experience with catering or serving in a hospitality setting will help you succeed in this role.
