Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to support culinary staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, and storage spaces Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service Help with food service tasks such as plating, serving, and clearing dishes to ensure smooth operations Follow menu plans and assist in catering or special event setups as needed Ensure all kitchen equipment is used properly and report any maintenance issues promptly Requirements Familiarity with food preparation, food safety regulations and cooking techniques are preferred but not required Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
