Overview A busy family of four is seeking a Summer chef for their home in East Hampton. The duration of this position is from June 9th through Labor Day, and the general schedule is 5 days per week, including weekends. The role can be live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate's needs. This is a fun and down-to-earth family looking for a great chef to join them this Summer! Responsibilities Duties include preparing daily meals for the family, including children, with varied preferences. Duties also include grocery shopping, organization and upkeep of the kitchen area, and keeping the pantry stocked. There will be frequent guests and small gatherings at the home, and the menu will focus on seasonal, local ingredients. You will also be responsible for kitchen clean-up and organizing at all times Requirements Previous experience as a private or personal chef in a high-end household Ability to quickly adapt to an existing routine and preferences Strong time management and organization skills Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor Salary and Benefits The family is open to a gross daily rate, depending on experience level, and the agreed-upon schedule Starts around $800 per day gross
