The Center Assistant will be expected to learn the various roles in the learning center with a primary focus on Front Desk responsibilities, check in/out, and admin tasks. Will also fill in where necessary. Growth will be determined by the individual's performance, dedication, and interests.

Potential roles and responsibilities include:

Grading

• Accurately grade completed worksheets with designated markings. Data Entry
• Record and enter worksheet data. File Prep and Inventory
• Pull appropriate worksheets and prepare student files with necessary materials and information. Take inventory of supplies. Instructor's Assistant
• Assist Instructor in providing instruction to and observing new students or early learners.

Ensure the Instructor is aware of necessary information regarding the performance of students, schedule/workload change requests, or general concerns. Engage in conversations with parents including scheduling meeting with the instructor. Set up new enrollments and provide feedback to families on the Kumon method. Qualifications Strong writing, reading & communication skills (English) Fundamental understanding of high school mathematics Positive attitude and a passion for working with youth Attributes required: patience, calm demeanor, and a growth mindset Willingness to follow the Kumon method Thrive in a fast paced environment with ability to multitask Hours . Flexibility to work between the hours of 3-7 Monday/Wednesday and 3-6 Tuesday/Thursday. Between 8 and 16 hours per week. Other days/times as needed.
