As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Westlake, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities. Support emergency preparedness activities by following evacuation, shelter-in-place, and other site response procedures, and assist with directing personnel and visitors as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
