Job Description

Job Title:
Lab Assistant The Lab Assistant supports manufacturing and production operations by preparing, assembling, and packaging finished products and kits. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are accurately staged, packaged, and inspected to meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. The position follows established procedures and guidelines while contributing to multiple areas within the production environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and stage materials and components for kit builds and manufactured products using standardized processes such as filling, counting, assembling, and labeling. Assemble and package kits and finished goods efficiently to meet production schedules and customer demand. Perform intermediate inspections to verify product accuracy, quality, and compliance prior to final release. Support documentation activities, inventory counts, and material movement throughout production areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready workspace at all times. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly. Monitor materials and components to ensure consistency, quality, and low error rates. Identify and communicate issues or inefficiencies within workflows to appropriate team members. Assist with a range of packaging operations, which may include operating automated bagging equipment, printing labels, bagging, boxing, gathering materials, filling kits, and supporting inventory storage activities. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to quality, precision, and operational efficiency. Reliable work history with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Basic computer proficiency. Experience or transferable skills related to quality control, inspection activities, inventory handling, documentation, and production support preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
