BSL‑2 laboratory (non‑GMP) Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry‑level Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory operations. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational lab experience who are eager to learn and grow in a hands-on, fast‑paced research environment. Training will be provided for systems and processes as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform basic laboratory tasks including sample preparation, pipetting, centrifugation, and aliquoting Handle and track biological samples accurately following established protocols Apply aseptic technique and general laboratory best practices during all bench work Enter and track sample data accurately in LIMS (training provided) Work safely and effectively in a BSL‑2 laboratory environment Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (required) Familiarity with basic lab techniques such as pipetting, aliquoting, and sample handling Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Reliable, organized, and eager to learn new techniques Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced laboratory setting Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of laboratory technician experience preferred, but motivated early‑career or "green" candidates are encouraged to apply Exposure to aseptic technique and lab safety practices Coachable mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Norton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
