Cook Campus, is one of the largest schools of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant Casual for the Department of Animal Sciences, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. The Laboratory Assistant Casual will carry out and facilitate research in behavioral and systems physiology. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Prepares reagents and performs laboratory experiments involving rodents, tissue preparation, immunohistochemistry, small animal surgery, DNA , RNA , and protein analysis. Maintains equipment and organizes lab records, in consultation with Principal Investigator and department administration. Orders supplies and performs general laboratory maintenance.
