PM Compensation:
$24/hour A global, family-owned industrial manufacturer is seeking a Contract Lab Technician to support their lab operations at a modern U.S. production facility. This is a 6-month assignment offering hands-on experience in product development, lab testing, and manufacturing support within a stable and team-oriented environment. - Stable, global organization with long-term growth and strong reputation Position Overview This role focuses on supporting lab operations, producing product samples, and ensuring consistent quality across testing and development processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating lab extruders
- Producing samples through extrusion, grinding, and spraying processes
- Following standard formulations and documenting results
- Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any issues
- Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing lab equipment
- Supporting metallic bonding and specialty sample preparation (as needed)
- Maintaining a safe and organized lab environment Training & Development Structured onboarding and hands-on training will be provided. This role is ideal for someone looking to build technical lab experience in a manufacturing setting while developing skills in equipment operation, quality control, and formulation processes. Ideal Background
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (Chemistry or related field preferred)
- 1+ year of lab or manufacturing experience (entry-level considered with degree)
- Experience with lab equipment, extrusion, or sample preparation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
