Laborer (Highway Construction)

Job Overview Drake Companies is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Laborers for our highway construction project in De Kalb, Texas. This position will assist crews with a variety of roadway construction operations while helping maintain a safe and productive job site environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with general highway construction duties Perform manual labor including shoveling, cleanup, material handling, and site preparation Assist equipment operators and supervisors as needed Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company and TxDOT safety requirements Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications:

Construction experience preferred but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work Dependable transportation and reliable attendance required Must be willing to work occasional overtime or night work as needed Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
