Landscape Construction Laborer

Anderson Landscape employs thirty, hardworking, year-round employees. Many have worked for the company for twenty-five years plus! We are looking to add to our team with individuals who are team oriented, have a strong work ethic and are dedicated to contributing to high quality and well executed projects We're looking for a skilled, dedicated and hard-working Landscape/Construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and can work well in a team setting. The Landscape/ Construction laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects. Job duties for our landscape/construction laborers: Prepare sites for land and hardscape installations Install hard and softscape materials Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks Assist in the construction of stone walls, paver walkways/patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape projects Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and lay sod Operates as part of a crew with supporting Crew Leader Flexibility and ability to switch gears when needed Qualifications Experience in landscape construction preferred, but willing to train the right person Ability to perform physical labor (repeated bending, kneeling, lifting) Experience with construction machinery helpful, but not required Valid Maine driver's license and reliable way to work Dependability and adherence to work schedule Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, while aiming to meet job deadlines. • Pay compensation is dependent on experience
