Enhancements Crew Leader Kuberski Brothers Lawn Care - Ames / Ankeny / Des Moines Metro Kuberski Brothers Lawn Care is growing and we're looking for a Landscape Enhancements Crew Leader to help lead our small projects division. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality work, and can keep projects moving efficiently. One day you may be leading a mulch and shrub trimming crew, and the next you may be installing a small landscape project with edging, plants, and rock. We're looking for someone who can adapt, lead from the front, and help us deliver great results for our clients. Responsibilities Lead and manage a small crew on enhancement and landscape projects Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards Communicate with crew members and management throughout the day Perform and oversee: Mulch installation Shrub trimming and pruning Weeding and bed maintenance Plant installation River rock installation Edging installation Small landscape projects Property touch-ups and cleanups Assist mowing crews when needed Ensure trucks, tools, and job sites stay organized and professional Fall Leaf Cleanup Help train and develop crew members Qualifications Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or enhancement work Ability to lead a crew and keep projects on schedule Strong work ethic and positive attitude Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift and perform physical outdoor work daily What We're Looking For We want someone who: Works fast without sacrificing quality Can problem solve on the fly and be solutions oriented Takes ownership of projects Leads by example Has excellent customer service skills Wants to grow with a fast-moving company What We Offer Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for advancement Variety in day-to-day work Supportive team environment Local company with a strong reputation and growing operation If you enjoy working outdoors, leading people, and taking projects from start to finish, we'd love to talk with you.
