Landscape Foreman Pollock Landscaping About Us At Pollock Landscaping, we challenge ourselves to go above and beyond while continually growing and thriving as a business. Our team works on local projects as well as travels throughout the Midwest servicing parks, universities, professional sports fields, commercial properties, and residential projects. Position Overview Pollock Landscaping is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead crews and oversee projects from start to finish. This is a working foreman position , meaning you will work alongside your crew while also supervising daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscaping, construction, or athletic field work and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate equipment and communicate effectively with both crew members and clients. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate landscaping and construction crews Read and interpret blueprints and project plans Operate and oversee use of various equipment and machinery Communicate daily with office staff, crew members, and clients Train and mentor laborers and crew members Troubleshoot issues and solve problems in the field Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Perform physical labor alongside the crew as needed Requirements Valid driver's license ( CDL preferred ) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable operating heavy equipment Ability to work outdoors in rough weather conditions Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the Midwest, including overnight stays for several days at a time Required Experience Reading blueprints Problem solving Operating various equipment Using computers for daily project communication Leading a team Working independently Communicating with office staff and clients Training laborers Preferred Experience Sod installation Irrigation installation and repair Retaining walls Excavating Athletic field construction and remediation (baseball, softball, soccer, football) Golf course remediation Hauling equipment Pay based on experience If you take pride in your work, enjoy leading a team, and want to be part of a company that values growth and professionalism, we'd love to hear from you.
