Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as edging, aerating, and installing landscape features Support the installation of hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds Perform lawn care duties including fertilizing, aeration, and weed control to promote lush turf growth Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and assisting with system repairs or adjustments Conduct seasonal snow plowing and de-icing to ensure safe access during winter months Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics and health Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating equipment like excavators, power tools, and landscaping machinery Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and pest management Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques for both softscape (plants) and hardscape (stonework) elements Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes effectively and safely Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic construction skills for installing or repairing landscape features Understanding of horticulture principles related to gardening and plant health Ability to perform tree trimming, tree care procedures, and snow plowing operations confidently Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining the safety and quality of outdoor spaces This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in landscaping while contributing to stunning outdoor environments.
