Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation projects, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform routine lawn care activities like mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating to maintain healthy turf and gardens Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as pruning, digging, and landscape shaping Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules for plants and lawns Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including mulching, fertilizing, pest control, and seasonal clean-up Operate construction equipment such as excavators for larger site work under supervision Provide tree care services like trimming, pruning, and removal while adhering to safety standards Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients Support hardscape projects by preparing surfaces, laying materials, and ensuring proper installation techniques Maintain tools, equipment, and work sites in a clean, organized manner to promote safety and efficiency Experience Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care and landscape design concepts is a plus Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) is advantageous Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and basic maintenance enhances job performance Experience operating construction machinery such as excavators or skid steers is beneficial but not mandatory Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols Join us in creating stunning landscapes while gaining valuable skills in horticulture, construction techniques, and outdoor maintenance!
