Landscape Laborer

Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, develop hands-on skills in landscape maintenance, and contribute to a variety of projects ranging from lawn care to hardscape installation. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment including excavators and other machinery safely and efficiently. Support tree care activities like pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety. Help install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Perform irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas. Participate in snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Qualifications Previous experience or familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, or construction is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience operating hand tools, power tools, or small machinery is advantageous. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions. Knowledge of horticulture principles or gardening practices is a plus. Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while handling equipment such as excavators or power tools. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license is preferred for operating certain equipment or assisting with project transportation.
