Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote plant health and aesthetics Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping projects, including shovels, rakes, trimmers, blowers, and more Support hardscape installations by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and assisting with excavation using equipment like mini-excavators or other machinery Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and performing routine repairs to ensure proper watering schedules Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and visitors Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving fencing, retaining walls, or other outdoor structures Requirements Previous experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape work is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques including tree care and pruning methods Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully while working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a collaborative environment Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods This role is paid and designed for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in landscaping while making a tangible impact on outdoor spaces.
