Job Description
Landscape Maintenance Operations Supervisor La Rosa Landscape Company seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. With 37 years of excellence in the landscape industry, we're looking for a dynamic leader to oversee our daily operations and crew management for landscape maintenance. Position Overview Lead and supervise landscape maintenance crews while ensuring the highest quality of service delivery and operational efficiency. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate multiple landscape maintenance crews Schedule crews, equipment, and materials for daily operations Monitor project progress and quality control across multiple sites Train crew members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and landscape techniques Coordinate with clients and respond to service requests Manage equipment maintenance schedules and inventory Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Assist in creating and implementing operational procedures Provide regular performance evaluations and mentoring for team membersQualifications:
5+ years of landscape industry experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, plant identification, and softscape installation Experience with crew management and scheduling Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Pesticide applicator license preferred Bilingual English/Spanish highly valued Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field preferredRequired Skills:
Excellence in team leadership and communication Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proficiency in landscape equipment operation and maintenance Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirementsPhysical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Capable of lifting 50 pounds Valid driver's license and ability to operate various landscape equipment Standing, walking, and bending for extended periodsBenefits:
