Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to oversee teams responsible for landscape maintenance and watering operations. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage crews, ensure high-quality work, and maintain client satisfaction. The Crew Leader will coordinate daily tasks, provide direction, and uphold safety and efficiency standards. Additionally, they must be capable of safely operating a truck and trailer, accurately managing work orders and time tracking, and effectively communicating in multiple languages to support a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead crews in performing landscape maintenance and watering duties.
  • Schedule, assign, and oversee daily tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Train crew members in proper maintenance techniques, watering schedules, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards in landscaping and irrigation work.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for maintenance and watering tasks.
  • Address challenges such as irrigation issues, plant health concerns, and crew performance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management regarding progress and concerns.
  • Monitor water usage and adjust watering schedules based on seasonal and environmental needs.
  • Maintain records of completed work, materials used, and crew attendance.
  • Safely operate and transport tools, materials, and equipment using a truck and trailer.
  • Accurately complete work orders and time tracking for crew activities, ensuring precise documentation.
  • Report on project progress, hours worked, and any issues affecting timelines or productivity.
  • Utilize bilingual communication skills to effectively guide crews, address concerns, and relay important information to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation, or crew leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify plant health and watering needs.
  • Valid driver's license with experience safely driving a truck and trailer.
  • Experience in work order management and time tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in reporting crew activities.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide clear instructions and guidance in both languages.
