Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure pristine outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency. Conduct lawn care activities like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to sustain lush greenery. Execute hardscape projects involving the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structural features. Provide tree care services such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to ensure safety and vitality. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible. Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, planting trees and shrubs, and installing garden features. Maintain equipment through regular inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with machinery, chemicals, and tools in outdoor environments. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating machinery like excavators and power tools effectively. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming. Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various groundskeeping tasks. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance for sustainable watering solutions. Experience with snow plowing equipment for winter weather readiness. Excellent understanding of landscape construction processes from site preparation to finishing touches. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
