Responsibilities Perform landscape activities such as mowing, edging, mulching, and much more. Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower arrangements with precision and care. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming, pruning, planting, and installing landscape elements. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for grading, digging trenches, or installing hardscape features like patios and walkways. Conduct landscape maintenance routines including irrigation system checks, tree trimming, snow plowing during winter seasons, and general site cleanup. Assist with landscape construction projects involving hardscape installation, soil preparation, and planting schemes. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while delivering exceptional quality. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools necessary for daily tasks. Familiarity with lawn care techniques such as mowing. Ability to operate heavy machinery including mowers and snow plows safely and effectively. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to follow detailed instructions for landscape maintenance and installation projects.
