Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves hands-on tasks related to lawn care, garden upkeep, and overall groundskeeping. The Landscape Technician will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various properties while ensuring they are well-maintained throughout the seasons. Duties Perform regular lawn care tasks, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth. Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, mulching, and watering as needed. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as pruning trees and shrubs for optimal health and appearance. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various landscaping tasks. Dig and prepare soil for planting new trees, shrubs, or flowers as required. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing routine maintenance on landscaping equipment. Ensure all work areas are clean and organized after completing tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of tree care practices is beneficial. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed. Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and groundskeeping.
