• Full-time Job Overview Join the team at Bertram's Landscaping LLC and help build high-end outdoor spaces across the Tomah area.

We specialize in landscape construction projects including retaining walls, patios, rock and mulch beds, grading, plant installations, and outdoor living spaces. This is a hands-on outdoor position for hardworking individuals who enjoy physical work, operating equipment, and taking pride in building quality projects that last. We are looking for dependable team members with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Experience is preferred, but motivated individuals willing to work hard and grow with the company are encouraged to apply. This is not basic maintenance mowing work — our focus is landscape construction and installation. Duties Build retaining walls, patios, walkways, fire pits, and other hardscape features Install mulch beds, decorative rock, edging, trees, shrubs, and plants Assist with excavation, grading, base preparation, and drainage work Operate equipment such as skid steers, compactors, saws, and other landscaping tools Load/unload materials including block, pavers, gravel, mulch, and soil Perform job site cleanup and maintain organized work areas Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule Follow company quality standards and safety practices on all jobs Assist with occasional lawn or property maintenance work when needed Skills & Qualifications Landscaping or construction experience preferred Experience with retaining walls, pavers, grading, or hardscaping is a major plus Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the day Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude Ability to follow directions and work well with a team Mechanical knowledge or equipment operation experience is a plus Valid driver's license preferred CDL is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience 40+ hours per week during the season Opportunity for growth within the company Hands-on experience with professional landscape construction projects Team-focused work environment Opportunity to learn equipment operation and advanced landscaping skills At Bertram's Landscaping LLC, we take pride in quality work, efficiency, and building outdoor spaces that stand out.
