Landscaping Laborer

Job Summary The Landscape Laborer is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of outdoor spaces. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks to ensure lawns, gardens, and landscapes are attractive, healthy, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Mow lawns using hand or power equipment. Trim and edge around walkways, flower beds, and walls. Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass. Weed and maintain garden beds. Apply mulch, fertilizer, and other landscaping materials. Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance. Remove debris such as leaves, branches, and trash. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely. Load and unload materials and equipment. Follow safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus. Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers). Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, and rain. Work Environment Primarily outdoors at residential and commercial properties. Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and varying weather conditions.
