Responsibilities:
Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies.This includes:

Provide classroom assistance to the district/school teacher, supporting the needs of general education or special needs students.This may include:
Implementing educational programs, activities, and services with students of varying ages Classroom management and learning environment support Reinforcing learning concepts presented through lesson plans—individually or in small groups Grading homework and tests (computing/tabulating results) using answer sheets or other methods the school employs Ensure adequate supervision of students and classroom environment to assure health, welfare, and safety of students, including: Ensuring students are never left unattended in the classroom Maintaining/assisting in maintaining classroom control that fosters a safe, positive environment for all students and staff in accordance with Kelly and school district policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations Reporting student injury, accidents, illness, and discipline problems to Kelly supervisor and district/school personnel immediately Reporting all personal injury or school property theft to Kelly supervisor and district/school personnel immediately Supervising students in out-of-classroom settings (e.g., assemblies, lunchroom) as directed and supervised by an authorized school district employee (e.g., school principal) Assist students in transition to and from classrooms, as needed Understand, address, and be sensitive to the needs of each student, recognizing differences in their abilities and cognitive levels .Minimum requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to follow oral and written directions Ability to establish effective working relationships with school district staff Ability to positively relate to a younger generation of students Ability to withstand frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.; other physical activities may be requiredCustodial Positions:
Job Description:
A school custodian maintains a clean, safe, and functional school environment. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.QUALIFICATIONS
a) Meets state requirements for education qualifications. b) Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively. c) Has effective organizational, communication and interpersonal communication skills. d) Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with District/School staff and students. e) Must comply with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements. f) Endeavors to understand and respect the values and traditions of the diverse cultures represented in the community and in the school. g) Such additional qualifications to the above as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable and as agreed upon by Kelly Education (KE).REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Substitute Custodial Worker shall report to the School Principal or an authorized custodial manager or supervisor. Substitute Custodial Worker will receive day-to-day and all job-specific instruction from the School District.Child Nutrition Services Food Services Responsibilities:
Assist with prep work and cooking of nutritionally balanced meals. Properly weigh and measure ingredients and portions. Carry pots, pans, utensils, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators, in accordance with school district safety standards. Follow all proper food safety and storage rules. Operate all mechanical kitchen equipment correctly and safely. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils, and follow all established sanitation procedures. Serve students in a friendly, efficient manner. Dress in a safe and appropriate manner as described in the Kelly Education Standards of Professional Conduct and Job Description. Assist with money and meal accountability. Follow sign-in and sign-out procedures as determined by the school district personnel. Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications:
