Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to hire for one of our clients in the Lanett, AL area. 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (OT on Fridays as needed)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products meet company quality standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards Perform testing, measurements, and analysis using both manual and automated systems Approve or reject raw materials and finished goods based on specifications Monitor production processes and identify quality issues or deviations Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and production metrics Track and report defects, scrap, and rework data daily Input data into quality systems and maintain organized documentation Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with production teams to improve quality and efficiency Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read measurements, analyze data, and work with numbers Basic computer skills (data entry, reporting systems) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Flexible schedule required - Overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
