Laser Etch Operator Greenwood, IN 46143 $22.80 - $30.80 an hour - Full-time $22.80 - $30.80 an hour - Full-time Our Greenwood, IN facility is seeking a dedicated Laser Etch/Engrave Operator for our 3rd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of laser engraving machinery to process various metal components.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop precise and optimized programs for laser engraving tasks. Ensure all digital files required for equipment programming are organized and maintained. Collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve technical questions and ensure project accuracy. Configure laser engraving equipment based on specific work instructions and technical prints to ensure high-quality part production. Utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify that parts meet quality standards.Required Qualifications:
Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential. At least two years of relevant professional experience or specialized training. Capability to interpret and execute tasks based on verbal, written, or diagrammatic guidance. Mathematical proficiency for handling whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and various units of measurement.The Work Environment:
