Allegiant Linen Services in Hartford, MI is looking for one laundry operations manager to join our 8-13 person strong team. We are located on 202 W Main St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Laundry Operations Manager to oversee our textile production and team management in Hartford, MI. This is a unique "player-coach" role that requires a balance of physical production work and high-level administrative management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of laundry output while managing the schedules, inventory, and human resource needs of a dedicated processing team. Responsibilities Production & Quality Control:

Perform hands-on laundry tasks (sorting, washing, drying, folding) alongside the team to ensure daily quotas and quality standards are met. Flexibility in your schedule to visit all shifts to monitor production and quality control.

Team Leadership:

Supervise the laundry processing staff, providing training, performance feedback, and daily direction.

Scheduling:

Create and manage weekly shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage for production demands. Manage team member call-offs. You will be on call for any shifts that remain unfilled.

Inventory Management:

Track chemical supplies, linen counts, and equipment maintenance logs; place orders to ensure zero downtime.

Administrative & HR:

Manage time-off requests, assist in the hiring/onboarding of new team members, and maintain compliance with safety and operational records.

Qualifications Experience:

2+ years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in hospitality, commercial laundry, or manufacturing.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in basic software (Excel/Google Sheets) for scheduling and inventory.

Physical Ability:

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30-50 lbs regularly.

Leadership Style:

A "lead-by-example" mentality with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.

Compensation & Location Salary:

$46,000 - $50,000 per year Must pass a background check.
