Duties Safely operate a box truck with manual transmission to pick up and deliver laundry loads across designated routes. Load and unload laundry items using proper lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide friendly and professional customer service during pickups and drop-offs, addressing any questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of the truck. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability. Assist with warehouse activities such as organizing laundry supplies and preparing loads for transport. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving efficiency. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members. Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely. Physical stamina to lift heavy laundry loads regularly and perform manual tasks efficiently. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and best practices for commercial driving.
