Code Enforcement Officer -FT Borough of Tenafly - 5.0 Tenafly, NJ Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $50,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Computer operation In-person customer service English Driver's License Computer skills Full Job Description The Borough of Tenafly is seeking a full-time candidate for Code Enforcement Officer, in a flexible work schedule. Under direction performs varied types of field and office work involved in enforcing residential and commercial compliance with various municipal ordinances. A candidate must be able to read and write English and have good verbal skills, a valid Driver's License, basic computer skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Knowledge of Mitchell Humphrey code enforcement program is preferred but not required. Prior municipal experience desired. Must be available for evening and weekend hours. Additional licenses recognized by the State may be beneficial. Candidates with an associate degree or a bachelor's Degree in governmental administration, criminal justice, or related fields is preferred. Salary $45,000.00 to $55,000.
