This vital role combines safety oversight with guest engagement, creating a secure environment for all participants. As a Range Safety Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, providing exceptional customer service, and managing range operations to promote responsible firearm use. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a positive experience for guests while maintaining strict safety standards. Responsibilities Monitor range activities continuously to ensure adherence to safety rules and protocols. Provide clear instructions and guidance to guests on proper firearm handling and range procedures. Enforce safety regulations, addressing any unsafe behavior promptly and professionally. Manage guest services by assisting with equipment, answering questions, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Handle conflict management effectively by diffusing tense situations and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Have a safety-first mindset and a friendly demeanor. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Must Possess a valid Texas License to Carry (LTC). Required. Without Exception. Obtain an NRA Range Safety Officer certification (or military/law enforcement equivalent) within 60 days of employment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting moderately heavy items, such as ammo cases or target boxes. Strong understanding of the operation and functionality of various handguns and long guns. Previous experience in firearms instruction, military, or law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory. Veterans are highly encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
