Job Description
The Barton County Detention Center is seeking women and men dedicated to the safe keeping of prisoners, to include mealtime, activities, and transports to and from court and other facilities. One (1) year of law enforcement experience preferred. Must have a valid Kansas driver's license and no felony or Class A misdemeanor convictions. All County positions require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED with the ability to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical assessment. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.
