Detention Officer Job Type:
Full Time Columbia, MO Boone County Sheriff's Office Salary:
$25.88/hour.
Essential Functions:
Interacts face-to-face with detainees Ensures the safety of staff, detainees, and the public Monitors and documents detainee activities Oversees the intake and release processes Manages visitations Logs and prepares detainee records Transports detainees as needed Enforces facility regulations Assists in maintaining facility security
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. No felony convictions. Must pass a medical examination, psychological assessment, a pre-employment drug screen, and an FBI fingerprint background check.
