Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Dispatcher/Jailer and play a vital role in maintaining safety, security, and order within our facility. This dynamic position involves overseeing the secure transportation and detention of individuals, ensuring adherence to protocols, and providing critical communication between various departments and law enforcement agencies. Your vigilance, quick decision-making, and commitment to safety will help create a secure environment for staff, visitors, and detainees alike. Responsibilities Monitor CCTV systems to observe activity within the facility and surrounding areas, ensuring safety and security at all times Coordinate transportation schedules for detainees or individuals in custody, ensuring timely and secure transfers Maintain accurate records through detailed report writing of incidents, detainee logs, and shift activities Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency responders, and internal teams during routine operations or emergencies Enforce facility policies by managing conflicts calmly and professionally, utilizing conflict management techniques when necessary Conduct thorough security checks on individuals entering or leaving the premises using CCTV and other surveillance tools Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid or CPR when needed and following established safety protocols Requirements Proven experience or training in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and report writing procedures Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and detention protocols is advantageous Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with emergency services and internal teams Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Join us in delivering a safe, secure environment where professionalism meets proactive service.
