Job Description
If you are interested in gaining employment with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy, Detention Officer or Telecommunicator, please contact Deputy Johnson at (910) 862-6963 or Joe Cotton at (910)862-6960 for additional information. Applicants must be 20 years of age or older for Deputy and Detention Officer, and 18 years of age for a Telecommunicator. In addition, you must be a citizen of the United States, be a high school graduate or possess a GED, possess a valid driver's license, be able to pass a physical, drug, tuberculosis test, and be found Psychologically Suitable through a Psychological Exam. In addition, you must be a person of high morals and no serious criminal history to include any felonies. Applicants must pick up an application packet at the Sheriff's Office complete the packet and contact Deputy Johnson or Joe Cotton to schedule an appointment.
