Applicants must be 19 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid drivers license, able to pass a criminal background check, and able to work legally in the United States. Applicants for Correctional Officer must be able to work twelve hour shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Applicants that successfully pass a background check will be invited to a written and physical test. Applications must be obtained from the Sheriff's Office, filled out and submitted.
