As a Correctional Officer, you will work a 12‑hour schedule 6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM.In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure correctional environment by supervising inmates, enforcing institutional policies, and responding professionally to a variety of situations.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety, security, and order throughout the facilitySupervise inmate activities, work assignments, and recreationConduct inmate counts and security checksSearch inmates, living quarters, visitors, and common areas for contrabandMonitor gates, cell doors, and inmate movementMaintain accountability for keys, radios, tools, restraints, and security equipmentRespond to emergencies including fights, behavioral incidents, and medical situationsAssist with specialty assignments that support institutional operations and securityQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 18 years oldValid driver's license requiredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of permanent U.S. residencyMust successfully complete an online Correctional Officer suitability assessmentMust pass a background investigation and drug screeningCandidates should demonstrate integrity, professionalism, confidence, motivation, and sound judgmentApply TodayStart building a rewarding career in Public Safety with a team committed to professional growth, service, and community impact.
