Full-time Taylor County is currently seeking qualified applicants for Corrections Officers at the Taylor County Jail.

All qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must have the ability to work in a very stressful environment and have a good moral character. Applicants must be in good physical shape and must pass a physical exam and drug screening prior to employment. Taylor County Correction's Officer Online Employment Application Starting Salary:

$56,030.72 per year + benefits

Benefits:

100% county-paid employee medical and dental insurance, paid life and disability insurance, retirement, and paid vacation/sick time. Paper applications will also be accepted in the Human Resources/Risk Management Office, Taylor County Courthouse, 301 Oak Street, Suite 120, until the position is filled. HR office hours are 7:30 am

5:00 pm Monday
Thursday and 7:30 am
12:00 pm Friday.

The HR office is closed at 12:00 pm for the day each Friday.
