Position Overview:

Core Civic is actively seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Detention Officers. This role is crucial in maintaining safety and security within our facility while ensuring the overall well-being of those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and supervise detainees to ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure a secure environment. Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with established protocols. Maintain accurate records and documentation of detainee activities and facility operations. Collaborate with other staff members to support rehabilitation and reintegration efforts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Must be at least 18 years of age. Desire to work with a team to achieve goals.
