Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Clerk of the Board of Equalization, the Hearing Reporter provides assistance and support to the California State Board of Equalization (BOE) Board in its adjudication and administrative matters. The Hearing Reporter takes a verbatim transcript of Board meetings using a stenography machine. Prepares verbatim transcripts promptly to meet processing standards. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all transcripts and day-of exhibits, and an accurate list of speakers. Performs incidental related clerical and stenographic work.
