Our onboarding is intentionally structured to meet the level of accuracy and professionalism required for court-facing documentation. This role is part-time, but the standards and skills are professional-level .
REQUIRED
READ BEFORE APPLYING
•Required before interview•California 5.20 Supervised Visitation Training is required. You must be eligible to sign and file FL-324(P) . No exceptions.
WRITING-INTENSIVE, COURT-EXPOSED ROLE
This position requires objective, factual written documentation after every visit . Reports may be reviewed by attorneys or submitted to court. Strong writing skills, attention to detail , and the ability to separate observation from interpretation are mandatory.
TRAINING & CALIBRATION
All monitors complete a writing calibration process prior to onboarding.
This includes:
short training videos documenting a visit reviewing a sample report from a different scenario (for format and tone only) receiving direct written redirection to align with court standards This is part of the interview process Ability to accept direction and work collaboratively is required.
ROLE SUMMARY
Subcontracted monitors supervise court-ordered visits, follow court orders and agency protocols, and submit documentation within 72 hours . Monitors do not manage cases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Required before Interview•CA 5.20 Supervised Visitation Training (required) 5+ years professional experience working with children Mandated Reporter Certificate TrustLine (or eligibility) + Live Scan Reliable transportation
APPEARANCE
Dress comfortably but professionally at all times. Applicants who move forward will complete a short writing calibration step before an interview.
