Court Monitor

Job Summary Join our team as a Court Monitor and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging environment within our judicial or community settings. As a Court Monitor, you will oversee courtroom or event proceedings, ensure compliance with rules and protocols, and facilitate smooth operations. Responsibilities Observe courtroom or event proceedings to ensure adherence to established rules and protocols Manage conflicts or disruptions with professionalism and tact, de-escalating situations as needed Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, participants, and staff by addressing inquiries and guiding them through procedures Assist with guest services, including orientation, seating arrangements, and information dissemination Handle cash transactions accurately for fines, fees, or tickets when applicable Support event logistics such as coordinating schedules, managing entry and exit points, and ensuring safety compliance Maintain detailed records of incidents, attendance, and other relevant activities for reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience in events management or conflict management roles Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse populations Experience working with children or in hospitality or resort environments is a plus Excellent public speaking abilities to communicate clearly and confidently in front of groups Background in food service or theater is advantageous for managing large gatherings or performances Lifeguard experience or certification is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is a plus Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly in transactional settings This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in lively environments and are committed to ensuring safety and order.
