Job Description

Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher Job Type Travel A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students in Laurel, Montana. This full-time role involves working 25-30 hours per week, providing specialized educational services to visually impaired students through both one-on-one and group instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with visual impairments Manage caseloads effectively, including maintaining accurate progress reports and documentation Teach and utilize Braille as part of the curriculum Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student success Travel as needed to various school locations within the region to provide services
Desired Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Strong knowledge of Braille instruction and adaptive educational strategies Experience with case management and creating detailed student progress reports Ability to work independently and manage multiple students' needs simultaneously Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to education This position offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of visually impaired students by enhancing their educational experience and promoting independence.
