Job Description

We are looking for a world-class Redaction Specialist to join our award-winning team! Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join the team as a Redaction Specialist . We work in a fast, paced environment where attention to detail and positive communication skills are paramount. The Redaction Specialist reports to the Administrative Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to review and prepare digital evidence for dissemination to attorneys and for trial as required by the Criminal Rules of Procedure. A few of the primary job duties of this position include: Organizes digital evidence files for editing and/or dissemination; provides quality control, updates, or includes case information to be maintained in the office case management system. Reviews all digital evidence including but not limited to; body worn and fleet camera videos; surveillance; photos; 911 audios and citizen provided recordings to comply with Victims' rights and disclosure rules mandated under Arizona law. Follows employee policy and procedures for redaction in Axon evidence.com. Assists attorneys and support staff with the use of Evidence.com. Collaborates with prosecuting attorneys and support staff to ensure uniformity of procedures and practices office-wide relating to digital evidence. Below are a few more details about the ideal candidate for this position: This individual has experience with case management and can work simultaneously within multiple computer programs. This position requires someone who possesses strong technical and analytical skills. The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently at times is a key part of this position. The primary duties of this role are utilizing AXON evidence.com software for redactions of sensitive information from body worn camera videos; fleet (on-board) camera videos; 911 audio calls; surveillance videos; photos and other civilian provided digital evidence.
