Job Overview:
PartTime Private Investigator The Private Ink Agency is looking for a skilled PartTime Private Investigator to focus on information recovery, with a flexible schedule and the ability to work throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Primary Responsibilities Conduct skip tracing, locate missing persons, or individuals with defaulted obligations Perform background checks, forensic data collection, and gather digital evidence Conduct surveillance, process serving, and assist in legal documentation Prepare clear, concise investigative reports and maintain rigorous case files Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Testify or assist in legal proceedings when necessary Coordinate with case managers and support team Required Qualifications Techsavvy—comfortable with investigative software, mobile tools, GPS, and digital reporting Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and willingness to travel regionally Strong communication and report writing skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends A professional with exceptional administrative support skills Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel (preferred but not required) What We Offer Flexible part-time scheduling—ideal for professionals in law enforcement, semi-retired investigators, or those seeking supplemental income A highly supportive and experienced team offering structured case management Access to diversified case types: fraud, custody, corporate, missing persons Work under a trusted, accredited agency with a reputation for integrity and safety Ideal (Optional) Skills Experience with insurance fraud investigations, corporate investigations, or workplace investigations Bilingual abilities are a plus Ideal for retired police officers and military Additional relevant licensure or certifications
