Job Description Summary
To maintain and update the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System (LEADS) and manual criminal arrest records, computerized report system for police, jail, and accident files, photo ID system, crime and jail statistics; to respond to citizens; identify warrant information and disburse inmate monies. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have working knowledge of computers and data entry programs. Must be able to operate microfilm and Photo Imaging System. Must be familiar with the following office equipment: fax machine, copy machine, typewriter, calculator and telephone. Must have effective typing skills. Must successfully complete the
LEADS/NCIC
Certification program within 6 months of hire.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience with multi-line switchboards.
